I. 1:30 - 5:00 NIEA - Blanket Healing Exercise Participants should expect to remain in this session for the full experience. A Minimum of 20 participants is required for this exercise. “A learning method that addresses the genocide of indigenous people, land loss, stolen children, and education inequalities aligns with our mission and purpose and it also aligns with the realities of Native people today,” said Diana Cournoyer, NIEA Executive Director.
II. 1:30 - 3:30 Joel Truesdell, Curriculum Workshop Bring one or two of your favorite lesson plans to participate in this workshop with our keynote speaker. He will work with you to help make your lesson more culturally relevant.

III. 1:30 - 2:45 Schools Beating the Odds with Alpha Plus Alpha Plus is a small Oklahoma business that has been helping schools improve student performance for more than 25 years. Currently serving 74 schools statewide with curriculum, assessments, data and training - all aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS) - this session will feature school leaders who have used these tools to go from low performing to National Blue Ribbon School status.
